Welcome Resource Teacher Amy Elliott

Please welcome Amy Elliott to our New Diana ISD Eagle family.


Mrs. Elliott will be teaching Resource K-5th grades.

Mrs. Elliott is newly married and has one daughter Rory; 6.   2  wonderful  step daughters; Sommer 19 and Autumn 15 . She enjoys the outdoors and being with friends and family.

Mrs. Elliot brings 9 years of teaching experience to New Diana ISD.  She began her teaching career at a private school called Oak Hill Montessori School, teaching Pre-K for 3 years. Mrs. Elliot started teaching in public school in 2014. She taught Special Education in a Life Skills class for grades K-5 at West Rusk CCISD.  Mrs. Elliot taught for the last 3 years at Kilgore ISD, in Special Education/Life Skills to Kindergarten and 1st grade students .  

Mrs. Elliott graduated from High School at West Rusk CCISD in 2002. Mrs. Elliot  attended Kilgore College, earning an Associates in General Studies.  She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology/Recreation Management.  Mrs Elliot also did her internship at Camp Ramapo For Kids with special needs.  She later went back and got her teaching degree in Special Education and she states, “that’s where my heart truly is.  I look forward to a new year and can’t wait to see what the future holds!”
