Congratulations to new Middle School Principal Justin Verzosa

Mr. Verzosa is married to Courtney Verzosa and they have two children; Reid (8), Ryder (6). In his leisure time Mr. Verzosa loves to spend time with his family, being involved in sports, and staying active in church, attending Pine Tree Church of Christ. Mr. Verzosa stated, “I like to stay actively involved in the community. I enjoy coaching and have coached football, basketball and baseball in the past few years with the various youth sports associations in Diana. I am very excited to start my new role in New Diana ISD. I love this community, our students, and our school”.
Mr. Verzosa brings 9 years of education experience, including 3 years in administration, to New Diana ISD. Mr. Verzosa began his career in Longview ISD teaching 8th grade math and coaching football, basketball and track at Foster Middle School for 3 years. Mr. Verzosa came to New Diana ISD in 2015. Mr. Verzosa taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Advanced Math while coaching football, basketball, and softball. In the 2017- 2018 school year, He became the High School/Middle School Assistant Principal and he also coached softball. In 2018-2019, He moved to the 4th and 5th grade campus as the Elementary East Assistant Principal prior to the transition of that campus over to the expanded facilities for 4th & 5th grades. He moved back to the secondary campus in the 2019-2020 school year as the Middle School Assistant Principal.
Mr. Verzosa attended Harding University from 2006-2010, receiving a Bachelors of Business Administration majoring in Accounting. After graduating in 2010, He began to work towards his Master of Business Administration, but put that on hold when he and his wife decided to move to Texas. After moving to Texas, He began working to obtain an Alternative Certification through iTeachTexas to become a teacher and coach. In 2017, He graduated from Harding University with a Masters of Business in Administration and then immediately began attaining his Masters of Education degree through Stephen F. Austin University in the Summer of 2017. In 2019, He graduated from SFA with his Masters in Education degree.
